The results of a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) examination were unremarkable, with a total nucleated cell count of 3/μL, protein level of 45 mg/dL, and glucose level of 73 mg/dL. Her score on the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) was 9.5. Ankle clonus and Babinski's sign were observed bilaterally. Bilateral upper and lower extremity deep tendon reflexes were brisk. A neurologic examination revealed paresis of all extremities, which was more severe on the right side (grades 2, 3, 4, and 4 on the Medical Research Council scale in the right arm, right leg, left arm, and left leg, respectively). On admission she was alert, but she exhibited severe dysarthria and cognitive impairment with decreased orientation to time and place. Preceding vaccinations, systemic infections, and other neurologic symptoms were not reported. One month later she experienced dysarthria and reduced verbal output, followed by decreased mentality, confusion, and dysphagia. She initially experienced recurrent falls and progressive bilateral lower limb weakness. Here we report a case of late-onset MOG-immunoglobulin G (IgG)-positive encephalomyelitis with an ADEM-like phenotype.Ī 57-year-old female developed gait disturbance with recurrent falls, dysarthria, and cognitive decline 3 months prior to admission to our hospital. When MOGAD involves the brain, an acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)-like phenotype is most commonly observed however, this is more common in pediatric or young adult patients. 1 The clinical manifestations of adult MOGAD resemble those of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), which usually involve the optic nerve and spinal cord. Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) has recently been classified as a distinct inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system.

The actual PlugBug Duo simply slides onto your USB-C MacBook Pro charger where the original adapter was located and provides two USB-A ports for charging any USB devices. If you need a world travel adapter, PlugBug Duo is a no-brainer. However, inside the box are also a plethora of international adapters, allowing PlugBug Duo to pull double and triple charging duty in over 150 countries. The Twelve South PlugBug Duo ships in a surprisingly big box, considering its multi-charging ethos. I’m happy to report the Duo goes a step further in a few unforeseen ways, even though the red adapter is (subjectively) an eye-sore.Įditor’s Note: Twelve South provided this PlugBug Duo free of charge for purposes of review. The PlugBug Duo doesn’t promise the world, so it’s fairly easy for the device to follow through on its premise. From the top, the PlugBug Duo promises to eliminate charging clutter in your bag and make it easier to top up your devices all at once. The PlugBug Duo plugs into a standard MacBook Pro charger by replacing the little plug-in adapter and provides two USB-A ports to expand the charger’s capabilities. Twelve South sent me the PlugBug Duo a few months ago to alleviate this inconvenience. My bag for our weekend trip this past weekend was nothing short of this catastrophe - two Apple Watch charging pucks for my watch and my wife’s watch, an iPad charger, an iPhone charger, a MacBook Pro charger, and a charger for my Fuji X-T2. If you have a MacBook, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch, charging all these devices requires up to four chargers and four different cords. The bane of every weekend trip is having to pack cords and chargers. This member-exclusive price is on the 256GB model, the cheapest option for the tiny Mac that punches well above its weight class. Apple’s base model Mac Mini with the M1 processor is down to just $570 at Costco. That brings this excellent controller down to $45, matching its historical low price. The black and gray versions of the 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth controller for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac are $5 off at Amazon when you clip the coupon. That said, they are still very worthwhile neckbuds at $50. Sadly, this used to be the full price of the Flex earbuds, before Apple increased the price to $70 in September.

In Bayonetta 2, Jeanne's aggressive attitude remains, though a more friendly rivalry side of her relationship with Bayonetta shines through. Jeanne is very loyal to her clan despite not following its rules strictly she's willing to give up her life before letting the Umbran Witches die. When it comes to dealing with her angelic allies, she is very impatient and will not stand for their meddling. Personality: Jeanne is rebellious, stubborn, serious and very agressive. After a demon summoning gone wrong, her soul is taken to Inferno to fulfil the Witches contract and Bayonetta journeys to rescue her from her infernal prison. Now free from Balder's control, Jeanne fights and lives alongside Bayonetta like they did more than 500 years ago. She has allied with the Laguna in order to lead Bayonetta to her supposed "fate". It was only after the Witch Hunts and the 500 years since that Jeanne has seemingly changed. More secure in her identity, Bayonetta forms a bond with Loki and eventually comes to care for him as she did her younger self in the first game.ĭescription: Jeanne is Bayonetta's rival and heiress to the Umbran Throne. Even in the face of her fomer demonic allies, she keeps her cool and punishes them relentlessly. In Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta retains her playful yet brutal nature towards her foes. She is calm in the face of danger, but has a playful side that sometimes hints at her sadistic nature. She enjoys fighting her angelic foes, using her weapons and sexuality as tools to get the job done. Still harnessing the power of the Left Eye, her abilities are stronger than ever and she must face angels and demons alike if she hopes to rescue her best friend. With a new hair style to match a new look, Bayonetta returns to embark on another journey after Jeanne's soul is snatched away to the depths of Inferno. After a 500 year slumber in a coffin submerged at the bottom of a lake and awakening without any memories apart from her status as a witch, Bayonetta fights to find the truth about her past. Description: Bayonetta is the main character/protagonist. She is a stylish and mysterious Umbra Witch who possesses remarkable talent for the bullet arts. Notation of an Activity diagramĪctivity diagram constitutes following notations: It is an object node that precisely represents one input to or output from the action. It clears out all the messy and complicated thing to manage the execution flow of activities. It is a small rectangle, which is attached to the action rectangle. A Logical AND operation is performed on all of the inward edges as it synchronizes the flow of input across one single output (outward) edge. Join nodes are the opposite of fork nodes. It split a single inward flow into multiple parallel flows. Whenever a data is received at an inward edge, it gets copied and split crossways various outward edges. It is the same as that of various decision parameters. A fork node consists of one inward edge and several outward edges. But it is used to add more transparency to the activity diagram.įorks and join nodes generate the concurrent flow inside the activity. It is not necessary to incorporate swimlane in the activity diagram. It used to add modularity to the activity diagram. The swimlane is used to cluster all the related activities in one column or one row. The activities are initiated at the initial node and are terminated at the final node. The control flow of activity is represented by control nodes and object nodes that illustrates the objects used within an activity. It may contain action nodes, control nodes, or object nodes. In other words, it can be said that an activity is a network of nodes that are connected by edges. The categorization of behavior into one or more actions is termed as an activity. Components of an Activity Diagramįollowing are the component of an activity diagram: It encompasses activities composed of a set of actions or operations that are applied to model the behavioral diagram. It is also termed as an object-oriented flowchart. The flow can be sequential, branched, or concurrent, and to deal with such kinds of flows, the activity diagram has come up with a fork, join, etc. It put emphasis on the condition of flow and the order in which it occurs. The activity diagram helps in envisioning the workflow from one activity to another. It models the concurrent and sequential activities. In UML, the activity diagram is used to demonstrate the flow of control within the system rather than the implementation. To be different and effective, use a well-written, detailed document for your handout and well-designed, simple, intelligent graphics for your visuals. With a written document, however, there is no reason for shallowness or ambiguity (assuming one writes well). At least they do that for a while.until they give up. When I get back home from the conference, do organizers really think I'm going to "read" pages full of PowerPoint slides? One does not read a printout of someone's two-month old PowerPoint slides, one guesses, decodes, and attempts to glean meaning from the series of low-resolution titles, bullets, charts, and clipart. Why don't conference organizers request that speakers instead send a written document that covers the main points of their presentation with appropriate detail and depth? A Word or PDF document that is written in a concise and readable fashion with a bibliography and links to even more detail, for those who are interested, would be far more effective. PowerPoint is a terrible tool for making written documents, that's what word processors are for. PowerPoint (or Keynote) is a tool for displaying visual information, information that helps you tell your story, make your case, or prove your point. Yet, this is a typical, acceptable approach. Tonight I was reading through one of the blogs I've recently added to my aggregator, the most-excellent Presentation Zen (by Garr Reynolds), and I came across a post entitled " The sound of one room napping." It included this wonderful passage, which sums up beautifully what I've been trying to say to the people around me at Microsoft:Īttempting to have slides serve both as projected visuals and as stand-alone handouts makes for bad visuals and bad documentation. One of the latter has been the organizatational dependence on "the deck" (that is, Powerpoint files) as the standard mechanism for conveying nearly all information. However, there have also been a few things that i've found extraordinarily disheartening. There are many things I've been delighted and impressed by during the nearly five months I've now spent at Microsoft.
